So become a Vermont Respite House Superstar and take the Jiggety Jog Club Challenge! Laura Hamelin and Grandmother

Laura Hamelin's Grandmother passed away at Vermont Respite House in December 2006. She was so impressed by the phenomenal care "Grammy" received that today Laura continues to visit the house on a regular basis. She gives free haircuts to the residents and brings in fresh baked goods every Sunday. Inspired by her grandmother's experience, Laura participated in her first Vermont Respite House 5K Fun Run in 2007 and raised $375. Laura will be back in 2008 to take the Jiggety Jog Club Challenge in her effort to raise $1000 for Vermont Respite House.

"Relying on the Respite House for the care we could no longer give to Gram was a gift to our family. They gave us the support we needed as we said our goodbye - for now. I wish that everyone who is sick could receive the kind of care that Vermont Respite House provides," says Laura Hamelin.
