Gifts of Insurance & Personal Property
You may have reached a point where life insurance no longer has the financial significance for your family that it once did. A gift of life insurance may provide a significant charitable deduction. To receive a deduction, designate the VNA as both the owner and beneficiary of the life insurance policy. Consult with your insurance agent for the details.
You can also support the VNA with a gift of personal property such as works of art, antiques, jewelry and real estate. Your income tax deduction will depend upon the nature of the gift and its correlation to our stated, tax-exempt mission.
